Where a Casino Score Comes From
Nearly every casino review ends in a number, and hardly any explain how it was assembled. This page runs the other way round: method first, operator second, arithmetic visible.
A rating is not a measurement. It is a few judgements, each resting on different evidence, multiplied by weights somebody chose and then added up. The weights do more work than the judgements, and they are almost never shown.
Ours are: six components, each marked out of ten.

Two rules sit above the arithmetic. Totals round down, never up. Any component below four caps the total at six, because a weighted average otherwise lets a large library cover for an absent regulator.
We publish an error bar too. Judgements formed from outside an account are not accurate to a tenth of a point, so read every total here as give or take seven tenths. Two casinos inside that margin are the same casino.
The Four-to-Five Problem
Collect twenty affiliate ratings of twenty casinos and nearly all land between 4.0 and 5.0 out of 5. The industry is not uniformly excellent. Four pressures push scores upward, and none requires anybody to lie.
- Selection precedes scoring. A site covers operators whose partner programme it has joined. Casinos that would score badly are never covered rather than marked down.
- The bottom of the scale goes unused. A two-star review earns nothing, so nobody writes one. A printed five-point scale is a one-point scale wearing the authority of five.
- Ratings anchor to each other. Publish 3.1 where four rivals publish 4.8 and most readers treat the outlier as an error rather than a finding.
- Precision is free. A decimal place costs nothing and buys the look of measurement, implying a resolution nobody has.
So the ordering still carries information — one reviewer's 4.9 probably does beat their 4.3 — while the number itself carries almost none. Comparison between sites is impossible.

On the five-point scale most sites use, 5.1 out of ten reads as 2.5 — a figure affiliate pages effectively never print, which is exactly why this site does not use their scale.
It is not a warning. What Wazbee does well, any operator can buy with a supplier contract; what it does poorly takes editorial effort and a better regulator. The 3.0 for recourse also triggers the floor rule, capping any total at six, though the cap does not bite here.

Move the Weights, Move the Verdict
This part should make you sceptical of every rating you read, this one included. The six marks never change. Only the multipliers do, and each set describes a real reader.

One point and eight tenths separates those totals, from identical evidence — a spread wider than the whole range most affiliate sites publish across every casino they cover.
It also tells you which reader you are. If a large lobby on a phone is what you want, this casino serves you. If you want a documented exit and somebody above the operator to appeal to, it does not.
Disclosure and Offer Value
The welcome offer is 75% up to C$300 with 50 free spins. Both halves of that sentence are published. Almost nothing that prices it is.
Three terms decide what a bonus costs: the wagering multiple, the sum it applies to, and the maximum stake while bonus money is live. None appears beside the welcome offer. The Cashier, In Both Directions
Cards, e-wallets including Skrill and Neteller, bank transfers and prepaid cards are supported, and deposits credit immediately. The inbound half is always the documented half, because the operator wants the money to arrive.
